Quiet Nusa Dua Beach

For sure the Nusa Dua Beach, one of the loveliest beach in Bali, the Island of God was not as quiet as the above picture showed. People staying in the nearest hotels or hostels often visited the beach to see sunrise or sunset or just having fun playing.

However, at some specific times, such as early in the morning, when hotel guests don’t wake up yet, the beach was really quite. It is almost empty without a single human seen.

Empty is the key. Every photographer loves “emptiness”. It makes their life easier to take a shooting. Remember KISS? A slogan that must always be kept in photographers’ mind because the simplest photo is likely the best photo they take. That’s why most of photographers will sacrifice their sleeping just to come to a location where they want to make photos as early as possible to avoid crowd.

It was lucky for me. Because, I could try my luck to take a photo with an idea of “empty” or “quietness”. This photo for me is quite OK considering it was taken by a prosumer Fujifilm Finepix HS 35EXR, cheap camera and not a professional one.

The photo should also tell you a story about a beach, one of the most favorite beach in the Island. It is easier to show this than writing a thousand words article to describe how beautiful the Nusa Dua Beach looks like.
