Whining Bloggers Always Dream For Quick Success

Since the last couples of weeks ago, I started to rejoin several Indonesian blogger groups on Facebook. The reason for my doing this was to help my blogs get more exposure and at the same time, doing branding.

My first action to achieve this target has been started by doing a simple trick, commenting or replying to existing postings. Fortunately, since I have a habit to reply in long, other members are attracted and suddenly my private inbox received messages asking about many things about blogging or monetizing blogs.

The questions which I am more than willing to answers. It is good for me and my blogs.

Unfortunately, the more messages I received, the more I felt regretted to interact with other members. It’s not because I don’t have enough knowledge or don’t want to interact with others. I am quite a friendly guy and the kind of guy who enjoys for good conversation.

What made my regret feeling is that I met too many whining bloggers a.k.a. bloggers that always talk about his own problems and inability to achieve what they want.

For example, many of the questions found in my inbox ask about

  • the reason about why the traffic of visitors on their blog is dropped and felt they did their best to make attractive contents and if there is quick solution to improve
  • the reason why their Adsense CPC (Cost per Click) can’t go up and would like to know if there are tips or trick to increase the CPC
  • the reason about why they still can’t get payout even after years of being an Adsense publisher and if I have a way to make them get their payout in routine
  • a quick solution or tips/tricks to improve their visitor traffic after the new Google algorithm

From the questions, I learned that bloggers that asked

  1. all want quick solution
  2. all want answers that can definitely guarantee their problems solved

Which, I can’t give. Nobody can.

  • Bloggers can only try to attract people to come to your blogs but the choice is theirs . Bloggers can’t control the visitor traffic but can do their best to make their blogs looks interesting and attractive to arouse the interest from readers
  • Bloggers is not the one who decide the rate of Adsense ads. Google and the advertisers are. Howevers, bloggers can “try” to find keywords that will trigger Adsense to show high price ads on their blogs

Blogging, Adsense, or other monetization are not easy and no guarantee for success. Like all other type of businesses, hard work, creativity, smart in seizing opportunities are things that bring success in blogging. It also takes long and un-definite time and still nobody guarantee the success can be reached.

Bloggers can only try their best to reach their dream and expectation.

It won’t be fast. It will be a long journey full of trial and error. You will make mistakes and correct it, make another and correct it again. You will face lots of hurdles that many times are beyond your control.

It looks to me that many people dream too much about blogging. Many of them think that blogging is an easy way to be rich or get an income. Many have a thought that blogging doesn’t need hard work.

The worst is that many thinks that there is a magic wand that can give what they want in short time.

In fact, there are no such things in the blogger world. You have to be willing to roll up your sleeves, working until late, drinking lots of coffee to stay awake while writing and willing to do it in consistent base.

No other way.

That’s why finally, after repeating my suggestions few times, I asked them to stop raising same questions. I told them to throw their instant mentality and they should never ask for quick solution.

Finally, I asked them to dispose their laziness and develop a habit of reading. Many of their questions are easily answered if they have reading habits. Millions of articles have been published on internet by bloggers, internet marketers, or others about how to success in blogging.

The only obstacle for them to know about the fact is that they don’t want to face the truth, that they need to work hard. They want to find a magical tips or trick that can solve their problems or make their dream come true.

However, I believe, my suggestions will be neglected. They will continue their wandering to find quick tips and tricks and at the same time, they will repeatedly whine again and again to another who give them a chance.

Which I won’t give as I am fed up with such whining bloggers.
